Julián Castro: “I’m not interested in media stunts.”

Question: Would you take up Pete Buttigieg’s offer to visit South Bend and meet African American constituents?

Julián Castro: “I’m not interested in media stunts.”

Next up is @JulianCastro. He’s mentioned touring the storm drains underneath the Las Vegas Strip “to shine a light on the fact that we have a housing affordability problem in our country” and talks about his plans to visit the Anaconda Copper Mine tomorrow.

Castro really has drilled down into a lot of Nevada-specific issues while out here. He’s the only candidate — for any office — in recent memory to tour the storm drains. He also was the first one to come out against Las Vegas’s proposed homeless ordinance.

“Not interested in media stunts” says the candidate struggling to maintain 1% support attacking a top tier contender in front of a podium.

Julian Castro is an embarrassment to Texas. Him and his brother have done nothing to improve SA and are only interested in promoting themselves

Lame stunt by Pete. Bernie Sanders was really unfairly treated as doing bad in the black community last time and he straight up owned it and started making inroads left and right in the underserved black communities across the nation…not just South Carolina.

Julian, you are good person but not president material…yet. Relax, support a candidate who has a chance of winning and take a cabinet post. Learn some more and then check back in with the electorate.

Good come back but you should’ve said, yes if you releases the police tapes concerning your Black Captain.

Why should he. That’s Pete’s job, as much as he doesn’t want it.
