WHAT WILL YOU DO to get out the vote?

WHAT WILL YOU DO to get out the vote? Will you carry voter registration cards and sign people up? Are you doing postcards? Have you picked a campaign for donations/volunteering? Tell me your plan to TURN 2020 BLUE, maybe it will inspire others to get involved.

Fo example, if you currently work with a group or campaign that you really like, please comment with some details and a link to the site so that others can come join-people are looking for recommendations here. Thanks!

I’m poor & in pain all of the time.

When the pain isn’t too bad, I take my trump dog toy & protest on Main street at 1pm on Saturdays.

And I try to twist his head off when trumpers pass us.

I sent 250 letters to likely Democratic voters in a district in my home state last fall.

The letters are pre-written but you can personalize them. I told my voters that Trump won by < 80,000 votes in 3 states. So EVERY vote counts.

We turned my district blue! Very satisfying.

*I carry voter registration cards. Any place I can have a conversation about voting, I do.
*I visit senior living centers and nursing homes and help residents check their voter registration. I help seniors w/ mail in ballots.
*On voting days, I drive seniors to polling places.

I work quite a bit, but I will post on every social media I am on the dangers of having Trump 4 more years.
I saw where Mike Huckabee is going to try to push for a 3rd term!!
Can’t let that happen!!

This is great, but you have to get out of the bubble and into the streets. Consider volunteering with an election, or making calls as we get closer to the vote.

Dem canvasser here. We go door to door reminding folks to mail ballots, have measure info….for this introvert, it’s a nightmare but our democracy is at stake.

I live in Indiana, but signed up for a Ditch Mitch movement in Kentucky in which we’ll go door to door. I hope to get involved locally also. And I talked my DIL into registering to vote!

I’m pretty much trying to keep the democrats together. Arguing with each other will lead to division and that was a mistake we made in 2016. Many just did not vote, vote for Jill or Trump.
We cannot afford that to happen again

This is good, but you need to get out into the streets and out of the bubble. Pick something outside of social media and volunteer. Lots of ideas on here!
